I was born in Clinton, Maryland - US. I moved to England at the age of 2 but still have family in various parts of the states.
After studying Business, psychology and Marketing at College, I had my son at a young age and struggled financially before getting an opportunity to use my skills and worked for a large radio station - Kiss.FM. I looked after Sales, Marketing and Promotions.
After offline came online - with Play.com and I covered all aspects of marketing in my time there. From co-ordinating and editing the newsletter through to media buying in press and TV, Online Marketing PPC, Public Relations and Managing the Advertising above the line. I built solid relationships with National Magazines and Newspapers and gained a worthy reputation in a male dominated industry as a tough negotiator. I thrive on the buzz of a fast paced marketing environment.
I witnessed the business grow from a modest size; to a giant company with a multi-million pound annual turnover in 6 years.
After too many long hours and not enough time with my son, I began looking online at internet marketing and it fascinated me. I studied in my spare time and left Play.com a month ago to pursue full time, as my passion grew rapidly. I took a risk by leaving with nothing, to prove to myself and others that you can start fresh and gradually build an income.
