What can I say about my life? If you watched my first video, you already know about my educational and occupational backgrounds, as well as the many qualities my life experiences have given me. In my second video, I shared about my wife, my job with Petey, and the goals which I hope to achieve through internet marketing. You may also be able to glean from the videos that I am an aspiring illusionist, and I love the creativity of video editing.
So what is left to tell you about my life? If you give me a moment, I would like to share with you the one pivotal event that changed the course of my life forever.
It was November of my senior year of college. That night, I finally realized that I was guilty of breaking God’s law, and my just punishment was an eternity of suffering in Hell. But God, by His grace and His great love for me, sent His son Jesus to suffer and die in my place! Then, through His resurrection from the dead, he offered me eternal life. All I had to do was repent, and turn away from my lifestyle of sin, and God forgave me of my sins.
Because of that amazing gift – of knowing I am forgiven and no longer destined for Hell – my life, on that same night, began to change. Once I finally esteemed His sacrifice, I was ready to no longer compartmentalize my life. Now I realize that to live is to live for Christ – to do all things for His glory, and to do them all to the best of my God-given ability. Without this life-shaping event, my life would not be the same as it is today, and I would definitely not be the same person.
