Jason lost his chance with his emotional final comment of trying to save time to Joel. Had he kept quiet, I feel he had more chances of staying. He proved he contributed more than 20% on their previous work, that made Thor as liar 3rd time:

1. Biggest ethical as posing as girl in chat rooms
2. E-commerce chips
3. His conversation with Alisande about Jason's work on previous episode.

Even keep the last two aside, his messy stuff posing as girl in chat room to lure traffic won't work as a JV partner to do million dollar opportunity. Sorry Jason, You had chances of staying. Any case, If the JV opportunity like selling on internet is not for you, then It defanitely makes sense to exit. Not every one can do everything. Good luck.

Actually, I think Jason is emotionally ans spiritually confused. He claims to have a servant's heart, yet has characteristics of a control freak who does NOT hear others.
Quitting abruptly with a focus on Joel seemed to inlude a perception that
Joel was less righteous than him.

I think he claims to be the good things which he actually sees missing
in himself.
But Thor better clean it up, because marketer or not, Joel Comm won't
sacrifice his integrity, or entertain a lack of it in a partner.

I am usually one of the first to post my comment re each episode, but I
chose to hold back this time, just to see how others reacted.

Interesting to read how people 'perceive' Jason to be.

I don't mind admitting this - I shed a tear WITH Jason. I felt his grief.
I congratulate him on his convictions. I would rather involve myself with a
marketer/salesman with his character and outlook, than the majority of
the hard-sell, untrustworthy types that have flooded the Internet.

Joel was only partly correct when he grouped 'competition' and 'game' as
being the same thing. Both share similar characteristics, but there is one
BIG difference. A 'game' is fun. A 'competition' is serious.

Jason accepted the 'competition' but wasn't prepared to accept the 'game.'
It was, for him, going against the grain to be expected to lie, cheat and
manipulate in order to 'qualify' to be TNIM. Quite frankly, if I were in his
position with his outlook, I would have walked as well.

There in no room for compromise when the 'financial rewards' outweigh the
'ethical' and 'spititual' ones. I agree with Jason. It's better NOT to get
involved.

I sincerely wish Jason HUGE SUCCESS with his future online ventures.

This episode eclipsed all before it. Very well done to all of the team.

What struck me the most about Jason's emotional departure was Thor's response.

When Thor commented on how Jason knows himself, I found that to be a very powerful
statement, and very giving. I do not believe that Thor is a deceptive person, or that
he lacks integrity. He is focused on winning the game, but he is clearly not a a
habitual liar - if he was he'd be better at it.

Too bad Alisande ruined her classy departure by looking for a scapegoat. She did
such a great job recovering from her "mistake", but that really blew it. Now we
can't believe her earlier comments about learning from her mistakes. I didn't actually
believe her anyway - if you watch her body language when she was taking credit for
the idea... she was a tad uncomfortable - as she should have been. Shame Shame

An open letter to Joel,

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am that you let Jason Marshall go without a fight. I understand why he told you he thought his heart was different from yours, but I think it was an overreaction to what you said about the competition being a game. As a person of integrity, who “played” fair and for the good of the team and always acting in your best interest, he struck me as a man you would want to turn lose on a project and then not have to look back and wonder if he was representing you properly. I cannot say the same for Thor, who was a cheat, stirred up drama (ie: his conversation with Alisande - who incidentally was annoying and a bad JV candidate), and a liar who stepped on alliances and people to win at all cost. Even he feigned shame at his bad behavior (even as he continued to do it). It causes me to wonder if this reflects your character and business ethics as well. In this episode, you made it sound as if it is. it has caused me (and I am sure others) to ask, "Is this someone I care to do business with?"

If it was me, I would find a way to have Jason come back as a wild card. I would guess that there are many who have reacted the way I have. I believe you need to step up and defend your own honor as Thor has tarnished your integrity and I am sure has soured many people on doing business with you for taking Thor’s side on this. i love the concept and would love to compete next time, but integrity has to be at the top of the list, not at the bottom, or off the list entirely.

It's really hard to make decisions when it comes down to the final four. I guess since this is a competition it sort of helps make that decision.

However, when YOU are sitting across the table from a multi-milliondollar opportunity, could YOU say, no? Could you say you don't feel your hearts are not alligned?

THAT kind of person is definitely genuine and KNOWS themself, just like Thor said. It is hard to see Jason go, but I now look upon him in a different light. He was the diamond in the rough. However it is that diamond who gets to choose who he works with.

This episode is definitely an eye opening experience for everyone.

If you're about to go into business with someone and it doesn't feel right... walk away.

I must say that Jason leaving surprised me. I had pegged him as one of the final two.
The ending really made me upset with Joel with his take on the whole thing. Thor should have been asked to leave because of his issues and Joel has to see that he would not make a good JV partner.
I do hate that these competitions always turn into games of alliances and backstabbing, and for this show to devolve into it when it started with so much promise just annoys me to no end. I think Jason would have made an excellent, honorable, and trustworthy JV. I guess Joel doesn't want those qualities.

With this though, I'm done. Thanks for the interesting show Joel, but I'm not watching any more of it. I don't see where it could be interesting anymore with how this last episode was handled.

By the way, you may want to double-check your site in Firefox. I can't see the Send button for posting with it. For "Internet Millionaire" you think that would work.

well..

Let's talk about jason (instead of thor, because we all know that he lies, and has no integrity)

Does Jason had the chance to stay? absolutely!

but I aggree with Jason. This is a competition, yes. But it's not "just business". it's not all about money. it's about for what we will spend our time in life.

He is the servant, yes. Is he the servant for anything that doesn't mind life? absolutely NO.

That's the point, he chooses what will he serve for.

He likes to do business, but he never ignores his life

So Jason is a person who:
-knows about himself
-knows what he will face, when he decides something
-knows what to do and what he will do.
-is a real man

Yes, he should leave the complex. it's the best for him.

respect, if you want to be respected. If something want you to respect it, but you should ignore others, you should not give respect.

Well done guys!

This was the best episode yet.

I have alot to say about what heppened on this episode between Alisande,
Jason and Thor.

But I am not going to.

I dont want to focus on the short-comings of Thor, Jason, and Alisande.

I am not perfect either. I am human too.

When you point a finger at someone, you have three fingers back at you.

BUT.....

Instead I want to focus on the cohesiveness of the Charles and Jaime.

Those guys were sincere and worked well together, meaning they can get on
well with others too, this includes Joel.

Wallace Wattles says : "Dont compete, but create"

There is enough opportunity to go around for everyone.

The behaviour of Thor and Jason did not reflect this truth.

The attitude of Jaime and Charles did, and thats why they won.

Ultimately Joel is looking for certain qualities in a JV partner. He doesnt
care that much about their current Internet Marketing knowledge.

You know why?

Because you can teach knowledge, but you cant teach character and honesty.

And on another note, I think Nico could have been a really amazing
JV partner.

Anyways,

Excellent episode. Only disappointing part was that Thor should have been
eliminated as well. I don't think he really knows the difference between
lying and strategy. There are more than enough scammers on the internet as
it is and I think I would be very wary of any sales pitch that Thor would
make and I think it would be 'a sale at all costs' approach. I don't think
he needed to resort to those tactics. There's gamemanship and out and out
deceit and sadly I feel Thor has moved towards the latter. He started off
well in the competition but has lost all sense of ethics. Not surprised at
Jasons resignation. There was incredible tension between him and Thor
during the entire task and presentation. I think he found felt Joel was
condoning Thors clear lack of ethics and blatant deceit and owing to his
strong Christian beliefs could not possibly work with Joel.
Congratulations to Charles and Jaime. I think the entire group
underestimated Jaime at the very start as she was a complete novice but
she has done exceedingly well and is providing true inspiration for all
newbies who aspire to make it on the internet.

well in the competition but has lost all sense of ethics.

I love this show! I was actually glad to see Jason go.He was not the
right partner for Joel! They are on 2 different pages.Thor on the other
hand seems sort of iffy.I would have problems trusting him.He just
seems like he would go back on his word too much.I think he could really
do great things but he has got to get him self straight. That's just me.
Charles I like. Jaime I like as well. I hope one of them gets it.

I was very disappointed that Jason walked off, but I can understand why. I
really think Thor should have been eliminated because of his deliberate
dishonesty on more than one occasion. He was asked the question if lying
was habitual and he said no. That seemed like another lie to me. I would have
a serious problem doing business with him. He always called it strategy, but
I believe strategy should also be done with honesty and integrity like Jason
presented in all his projects. I will be very disappointed if Thor wins. I
have signed up as a member of the Next Internet Millionaire Club, but will
cancel because of issues of integrity. I wish Jason the BEST in all of his
future endeavors. It sounds like he may have a great future with Charles.
Jason, if you read this, I wish you and your family all the best.

This is my first comment ever about this show, but I have been following it
weekly. I have to say this episode made me feel sick. It was so dramatic
that I didn't learn a thing. The other shows I picked up something here or
there, but this one...But it's getting real close now.

Jason is very black and white, good for him sticking to what he believes
but he spent so much time pointing the finger, first at nico, than Thor.
That is a quality I can live without... But he also made a very BIG decision
based on the strong emotions he was feeling at the time, a big no no.
That was his biggest mistake. He made an assumption about Joel that I think
is way off.

I do not believe Joel would ever do anything unethical (one of his big
sites is family friendly specifically. "WorldVillage.com, a family-friendly
portal")

Now as for Thor how you do something is how you do everything. I was taken
aback at the thought of Joel doing anything with someone who lied on national
internet... Obviously Thor has absolutely no chance of winning, because Joel
never would work with someone who lied. He got to stay because Jason chose to leave.

So it is now between Jamie and Charles. But I don't think Charles wants it.
He has some issues with money and selling to people. Jamie seems very
teachable, ready and able to focus on this full time, and is balanced
emotionally. I would pick Jamie

Very disappointing episode... Thor showed himself to be unethical and so
focused on winning that he did not care who he deceived or hurt. Joel
apparently saw nothing wrong with this. That point alone has made me second
guess my purchases of Joel's products. I do not think that I will be
buying anything else from him. My respect for Jason has grown immensely. My
respect for Joel and Thor, on the other hand, has diminished considerably.

I think there both Jason and Thor are strong competitors and they bring
alot to the table, and although what did go on, it's all about how you
present yourself and Jason started showing that just like Nico did. He
basically eliminated himself and he could of had a chance...

I was actually quite frustrated that Joel just let Jason go like that without saying anything at first. But thinking back, I realized that he couldn't. What many people are forgetting here is that Joel is a judge in this competition. He cannot and should not show any favoritism to anyone playing the game. Everyone should be treated equally no matter what.

Besides, I'm sure we will actually get to know more within the next few episodes. This is a TV series after all, so Joel needs to be careful not to let anything out of the bag until the time is right. Although, it also struck me as odd since Joel did not hesitate to tell Jamie that she would have been eliminated a few episodes ago if it weren't for her immunity. Perhaps Joel was going to eliminate Jason afterall, or he just didn't want Jason to regret anything else so he just kept quiet.

I'm hoping that Joel would come out and tell us how he really felt about each of the contestants once the show is over.

As for Jason, I think you did great. You entered the competition with a strong impression. You may have faltered a bit here and there, but you were always honest (although sometimes a little too honest, i.e. pointing at Nico) and showed that you are a man of your own words.

Btw, as Jon said, the submit comment button is missing in FireFox.

This episode was a double whammy! First of all, shame on Thor for his
blatant deceipt during the challenge today. I mean, who would pose as a
woman to drive traffic to a site that was for a charity. Not only was that
a disgrace to the charity but also to Joel and the show. I can't believe
Thor thought that it was a good approach.
Jason on the other hand did something that is very important, no matter
what you do. He stayed true to himself. He didn't let the competition change
his outlook or his belief in order to win.
I do think that if Jason hadn't have left that Joel would have eliminated
Thor because of his deceipt during the challenge. But I guess we'll never
know for sure.
I am proud of Charles and Jaime. Those two came together as a team and did
something honorable for an important charity. I hope one of them win.

I am playing catchup and just got around to watching this episode. I think Thor just didn't want to let everyone know how many chips he had because he didn't know what they were for at that time.

This is really a competition and giving other competitors a false sense of security is a valid tactic.

But Jason really did give up too easily. I have met Joel Comm before and he is a kind man. I think Jason made a mistake in questing his integrity.

Jason stood out to me because he developed his personal brand around being "trustworthy".
I would consider it an honor to learn from and work with him.
