Finally, with the exit of Thor (the audience goes wild with applause), integrity is restored to the show. It was time for him to leave along with his deceit and smarmy tactics. It was most disappointing to see him survive from episode to episode, suggesting that the only way to win on the internet is with lies, cheating, and BS. Needless to say, good riddance. Jaime has done well to get this far, but Charles, who has been annoyingly casual and even sloppy in his demeanor and appearance has shown his ability to be creative and even assertive. There is nothing wrong with Charles’ laissez faire attitude and lack of energy that can’t be fixed with a hair cut, a tie, and some Red Bull (and maybe less marijuana). I think he has enjoyed projecting the persona that he could care less. He said he was surprised that he was so nervous in the elimination room, but I think that is because he finally has gotten to the point where he wants to win and was a bit tongue tied in the process of fighting for his survival. He will win, but Jaime will not have lost in as much as she has gained much from the exposure to all of the training and to potential JV suitors watching this show. (I should win something for this successful prediction). Can’t wait to see the conclusion. By the way your blog is still not firefox friendly. Shame on you!

The final two have been chosen. Jaime will REALLY be tested, because
whatever the challenge, she will have to do it ON HER OWN. I don’t think she
will have what it takes.
Joel’s comment about not being able to truly trust Thor as a JV partner,
hit the nail right on the head. Thor, whilst being a smart thinker, let
himself down with his comments about cheating and lying, etc., by trying
to justify that it was OK to do to win. Even in this current episode, he
made the remark, “Deception never hurts.” WRONG! Deception is a killer. I
sincerely hope he learns from this.
Good luck to the final two. I will be sad when the show finishes.

PS - It was great to see Laura on screen again. *smiles*

Agree with you Steve. It was time for Thor to leave. Jamie was clever in choosing Nico. If Jamie wins the final, she got lot to thank Nico.
On the other note, This site got PR5 ranking..WTG Joel & Team.

Let me tell you a story.
3 Traveling Salesmen are tired of driving and need a sleeping room for
a few hours. They stop at a hotel to get a room - and the Manager tells
them the room will be $30. Each of the men pull out a $10 Bill and pay
him. After going up to the room - the Manager realized he overcharged them
because the room should have only been $25. So he hands the Bellboy five
$1 Bills and tells him to go refund the money. On the elevator ride up to
the room - the Bellboy wonders how he’ll refund $5 to 3 men and decides
it’ll be easier to keep a $2 Tip for himself and tell each man they were
owed $1 Back. Now each man initially paid how much? $10 - right? And
each was given back how much? $1 - right? Now that means each paid how
much for the room? $9 - right? And 3 times $9 equals what? $27 - right?
And how much did the Bellboy keep as a tip? $2 - right? So what happened
to the other $1?
It’s funny how the telling of a story can affect the viewer and/or listener!
I have to say I’m amused at all of the people playing Judge, Jury, and
Executioner on this show based only on the story.
Do you really think Thor is a bad guy?
Do you really think Joel would have kept someone around that couldn’t be
trusted?
Is Thor a slick talker and a “Politician” as Joel pointed out? Maybe so -
but he isn’t the guy people are making him out to be on these boards.
Thor contacted me a couple months ago and told me one of his fellow
contestants had their name purchased as a domain name - and could I speak
to the person on their behalf. I did - and was able to get the domain name
back for them.
In my own humble opinion - the villian Thor was created via editing more
than by character. And he’s a much of a bad guy as there’s a dollar
missing from the story above…

I don’t know - this episode was pretty interesting, who doesn’t love fairs?! What really struck me is how Thor made light of the fact that he was constantly deceitful through the show about things with Jason and stuff. Another thing that really got me was how when the other team discovered Jamie’s team was switching out tickets, how she just lied about it point blank (several times) - that doesn’t look too good on her - in fact, it make’s her look as bad as Thor when he was lying. I don’t know, maybe it was the editing, that’s just MHO.

I was very disappointed to see cheaters and liers win this episode. Joel, the fact that you can ignore and reward this says alot about you as a person. You should have begged Jason M. to stay! I would like to hear from the person who “won” Nico trip…I’m sure they would have plenty to say about his great marketing ideas. Jason M. is the only contestant who stayed honest during this contest and wasn’t afraid to confront people reguarding their deciet.

www.costaricatravelchannel.com and register now to win!!!!
4 Day/3 Day stay for 2 including whitwater rafting, waterfall canyoning, and

goes for anyone else posting here.. go now check out the video,
and register to win!
Oh and Beth if you want to hear from a person that I gave away a
free trip to… just ask the other eleven contestants, the teachers,or the
other 30 or so people on staff with the show that i offered my generosity to.
with the same gift!
and what kind of lame vague insinuation is your following uneducated comment
reffering to anyway?
“I would like to hear from the person who âwonâ Nico tripâ¦Iâm sure they
would have plenty to say about his great marketing ideas.”
As far as this Episode 11 is about…. HELLO GUERILLA MARKETING 101…
so I gave away a trip… HOW does that make me decietful? Doooo Tell!
I did not trade anybodies tickets! None..Nada… ZIP!
Why did none of the final three contestants even think of using their own
personal resources to give themselves the upper hand? They had a two hour
lesson from the best in the business, i was riding in a car back from Breck…
Let us rehash a little… I gave Jaime MY Immunity because she was sick..
Que Decepcion! I gave away the money I won in the popsicle challenge…
oh how awful and selfish! I gave away thousands of dollars of Costa Rica
Getaways to EVERYONEon the set! Do you know the time and energy I would
have to put into fulfilling even a percentage of those that decide to
partake? Of course you don’t, and you don’t know me! I brought hundreds of
dollars of fine cigars, coffees and rums of Central America as gifts to
everybody on set..WHY? Good Question! I like to see people feel good!
Hey Beth… Don’t ever questions my morals, ethics, or integrity..
I walk a Spiritual path… not a Road submerged in a quagmire of Religious
Regurgitated Rhettoric! There within lies a HUGE difference!
Gracias Y Pura Vida! Nico

Hey Nico,
Man I was sorry to see you go off the show.
You are extremely resourceful and a great team player.
You can also be a democratic leader when you have to be.
I wish great things for you my friend..

Great comeback Nico, fair play!
I agree with a lot of Jason’s points on integrity but sometimes he just seemed too self
righteous for me to handle.

Was absolutely delighted to see Thor axed. I think he would be very
difficult to work with. Well done to Jaime. Her choice of team, especially
Nico was very strategic and demonstrates that she is not just a pretty face.
She remembered how each contestant had performed previously in tasks and
chose wisely. Well done to Nico for being the best affiliate and for his
kind generosity. Well done for Charles. A lot of his fellow contestants
underestimated him. I think it will be an interesting final. My preferred
choice would be Jaime. I think she would be the most dedicated and less
confrontational. She is eager to learn and driven to succeed. I think
Charles get bored easily and doesn’t like being out of his comfort zone
as he has shown on previous tasks.

Nico, you were the coolest one there. Beth doesn’t know what she’s talking about. You think outside the box. I sense that is why seem to be on an adventure most dream about. Your generousity shows that you care about people. I can see that you walk a spiritual path. You give off good vibes. Good Luck in your ventures, man. You seem like good people.
