By Popular Demand, My Exit Blog ;)
I know I was booted off the show last week and to be honest I really didn’t think people would be interested in my “NIM exit blog,” I figured they would just read my personal blog. After reviewing comments and videos about me, I have to say I’m flattered. I came into the competition looking like unfocused goof because of the power of editing and me being an ass, and came out showing people who I really am and changing their opinions.
So you want some inside scoop on me and the show? Okey doke.
1. Editing is quite powerful. If they wanted to edit some stuff out they could have.. but then where would the entertainment be? You wouldn’t get any of my famous one liners about being VERY single and doing stuff in bed all day, would you? I have to look at the upside, it got me more exposure and I’ll embrace it.
2. I am NOT that white. I look like a ghost, not that bad but still. I do have a tan, I’m from Texas for crying out loud. Look at my blog pics, TAN. All of those lights not only made me look white as paper, but made me sweat like an Ox. Thankfully we were provided with all the water we needed plus some.
3. I still feel like my team should have won the Made Easy Publishing Challenge. Sorry for cussing at you guys in the confessional, but I’m not going to let go of it.
About 90% of the viewers agree, not trying to rub it in your face Joel .. just letting you know that we all make mistakes
Even though I left the COMMpound on Episode 7, I still feel like a winner. Hours of sitting under those lights, not ever getting much needed sleep and all of that driving and retakes because I can’t wipe the silly grin off my face cannot be replaced. I’ve taken my experience from this and from what I knew before and combined it to launch my very first product next week on my birthday
My favorite quote now, thanks to a popular Insurance company, is “Life Comes at You Fast.” It sure as heck does. So you can either let it fly by or embrace it. I’m taking it by the horns and you can bet this is just the beginning of what you’ll be seeing of my. So here I will exit gracefully and say thank you to all the friends I’ve made and for the opportunity Joel, Eric and team have presented to me.
To OUR success,
Laura Martin

WELL DONE LAURA!
They say editing can make you or break you. As long as you are comfortable
with what was presented, that’s all that really matters. Laura being Laura -
no fluff, no hype, no BS. Your ‘take it of leave it’ attitude will see you
go far in this crazy business called Internet Marketing.
Wishing you EVERY SUCCESS IMAGINABLE.

You are awesome Laura! On set and off set, you had such a great attitude, and your post continues to show what an exceptional person you are. Good luck with your product launch!
Cheers from your fellow TNIM contestant.

Hi Laura,
You were one of my favorite contestants to watch on the show.
My favorite part was when you were selling popsicles. That old
gentleman was pretty grouchy, but you just smiled.

Sorry I included the wrong URL and didn’t have a way to edit it.
The other URL comes up a phishing site, and that is definately
wrong and I don’t know why that is happening.

I never thought Laura was that great on the show. At the beginning or the end. Good luck though.
