And no, there is no deeper meaning to the fact that the first two female contestants to be announced are both from Canada!

The third finalist to be announced is Charles Trippy of Tampa, Florida.

A self-professed computer enthusiast, Charles has been tinkering with computers and programming since his grade school days.

Now in college, he has turned his computer interests toward the internet. He has discovered the powerful avenue of online video, and has the #29 most subscribed channel of all time on YouTube.

Congratulations to Jaime Luchuck, who was announced today as a finalist in The Next Internet Millionaire.

Jaime worked at FLARE, Canada’s top fashion magazine, before pursuing her dream of acting. She succeeded in playing the female lead in the feature film, Heartland Son, but deciding that acting was not paying the bills, Jaime began working in communications for the provincial government. Her education in graphic design, web design and multimedia has opened doors to interesting jobs, both freelance and with advertising agencies. Jaime is also a published writer.

If only we had thought through this more clearly, we could have announced Jaime (a Canadian) on July 1st (Canada Day) and Jason Henderson (an American) today (Independence Day).
